Hello! My Name Is...
I have been a teacher at Clay Elementary School for two years. I have taught in a departmentalized setting as well as a self contained classroom. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where my Dad was a Children's Pastor for our church. It was through my experience as my Dad's helper that I fell in love with teaching kids. I have worked children's camps as long as I can remember and even moved on to be the Director of a Special Needs camp for Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, AL. I moved from Atlanta to Birmingham my tenth grade year of high school and have been in Alabama ever since. I graduated Troy University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2015 and was hired at Clay Elementary August of 2015. I have fully enjoyed teaching at Clay where my love of teaching has only grown. I look forward to many more years of ministering and nurturing kids in the future!
